This is our finest French blend, roasted to honor Jefferson’s negotiation of commercial treaties with the European powers in 1784. Jefferson succeeded Ben Franklin (from 1785 to 1789) as Minister of France before becoming Secretary of State of the newly born United States.

The Thomas Jefferson Blend is a deep dark roast of our highest scoring African coffees. It's an introspective dark roast with intense chocolate notes and caramel accents.  It is perfect for the focused and ideal for goal-driven Patriot who seeks new sources of knowledge and wants an extra boost of “pick-me-up” during the day.

The beans are shiny with an oil sheen and offer a bittersweet flavor with low acidity, from which you get a bold, rich coffee flavor from your first sip.
